First up, let me introduce to you the hunk for the month: Joe Lin
I rate him one of Singapore's hottest guys. Let me tell you how I first met him. One day, as I walked towards to YMCA Macs after church, I noticed a crowd of people outside looking through the glass panels of Macs. Curious, I walked over to see what the commotion was about. As I looked into Macs, I realised what all the girls were looking at. This good-looking chap with long floppy hair. At that moment, I thought I was looking at some Japanese superstar. It was the time when Japanese hunks like Takeshi Sorimachi and Takuya were hot with shows like Beach Boys showing on Channel 8. He looked exactly like one of the beach boys. Some time later, I found out who he was because his reputation grew like wildfire among the Bukit Timah schools. Rumour has it that all the girls' schools along Bukit Timah housed his fanclubs. The reason being, Joe reigned from the school of the hairy legs, The Chinese High School. Rumour also has it that he used to have to change his house phone numbers because too many girls were calling him. I kept hearing stories about him before I even knew him then. Girls would rave about him, even the guys. In army, he was also known to have pulled 40+ chin-ups in a minute. (oh did I mention this beefcake has rippling abs and cup D breasts!)
Somehow, alot of my guy friends know Joe too and they all have lots to say about him, when the topic of him somehow pops up. Friends who were in canoeing during JC would say that all the girl canoeists from other JCs will be staring at him during trainings. My TCHS friend Gaohan, calls him "The Legend". Then, he's making it quite big as a part-time model too. Keeps appearing on the papers, and this month, "he is plastered all over town", as Jane swoons, cos he is on the cover of Men's Health. Feast your eyes ladies...
Brawn aside, he certainly has the brains too. Currently doing a double degree in acturial science and econs I think, in Australia, and he says he's gonna do his masters when he graduates. So, with the looks, the intelligence, the to-die-for body, and probably relatively well-to-do, what is there that this guy doesn't have? Till now, I still haven't found a flaw. It must be a sin to be this goodlooking, and an even greater sin to be perfect in all other aspects too.
Girls wanting to catch a glimpse of this major hunk, do start camping at zouk cos he's a regular there.

Next up, Babe of the month...Sharon Lai
This is another case of brains and brawn. Sharon is of Rafflesian descent. And currently studying Business in NUS. SGX scholar and Dean's lister. I think that speaks volumes of her intellectual capacity already. According to Trini, her long-time friend, Sharon has been popular with the guys ever since Secondary school days. Guys often hit on her when they go out, as attested to by Trini.
This cute and sexy girl was also a finalist in the Camp Babe contest (click)organised by Power 98. The only reason why she didn't win was because she didn't go for the actual event. So she didn't get a score from the judges. If she had gone, we all know she would have won hands down.
Anyway this is why I call Sharon a CB. She called me EB so decided to call her CB, but somehow she didn't really like being called CB. I wonder why. As I was saying, I think Sharon looks really cute, with her cheeky grin and all, that's why she's also a CCB. Cute Camp Babe. But, I guess as girls grow older, they tend to not want to be called cute since it might seem as though they look childish. So, I would like to add that Sharon does have the beautiful aspect in her too. Pretty, but more cute. Beautifully Cute. Apart from all the superficialities, Sharon has character too. She's funny, amicable, cheerful and makes a good gf as I hear from Trini. So well, she's kinda nice in general so its easy for anyone to be friends with her.
Therefore, my conclusion about what I have said about Sharon so far is: Sharon is

Sharon is affectionately known by her closest friends as "taopok". However, I still don't know where that came from. According to Trini again, Sharon used it as her nick long ago and it just stuck. Therefore, I decided to have an interview with the babe herself.
Mingmong : Hi Sharon, let me wish you a Happy Birthday before I start.
Sharon : Oh thank you! You're such a sweetie.
Mingmong : *blushes* So, I was wondering why you called yourself taopok?
Sharon : Hmm, no readon behind it actually, I just came up with it when thinking of a nick in sec 1.
Mingmong : I see. How many siblings do you have? If they're as hot as you, maybe I could feature them here next month too.
Sharon : 8
Mingmong : 8! WOW! What are their names?
Sharon : Taohu, Taokua, Taosuan, Taosar, Taoni, Taogey, Taohuey and Taoyou
Mingmong : Hmm..would there be any chance that Taufik is related to you?
Sharon : Oh nonono.
Mingmong : So would you name your children this similarly next time?
Sharon : Hmm, I haven't thought about that. But, my eldest sister, Taosar, is going to have a baby soon. She's gonna call her child Taosarpao.

Recently, Sharon was featured in local newspapers a lot. Although, she only made her name known to most Singaporeans recently, her fan base was already established many years ago among teenagers. She is most popular among the male JC student population. Some parents of these male students try to keep their sons away from Sharon as they feel that she might hurt these poor young boys, especially the most vital areas of these boys' bodies. Despite how innocent and harmful she looks, she certainly is capable of 'biting' when you go down to hard. However, in response to their parents' concerns, Sharon's fans defend her by saying that they are 'safe' when performing activities with Sharon, and they know how to refrain from pushing 'it' too far. But, we all know how innocent, inexperienced and testosterone-raged boys overestimate themselves and think they can control themselves when it comes to such 'bodily fun'. In the "Rising Sun" by Michael Crichton, a woman was killed because of some gross fetish she had with strangulation during sex. It appears that some people do have such weird fetishes and feel that they reach greater orgasmic heights when deprived of oxygen. Well, its not surprising such bizarre fetishes exist, especially coming from the Japanese (probably thus the title of that book.ha). We just hope that Sharon doesn't cause any such deaths through asphyxiation.
So anyway, if you would like to have a glimpse of how popular Sharon is, visit any JC and keep your ears open for shouts/screams of "TAOPOK!!!". When you find a group of boys piled up on top of one another in a gay orgy-like mass, you will know those are Sharon's fans.
This paragraph is added because Trini (RGS,RJC) said she did not understand what I was trying to say for the last 2 paragraphs. So, I figured, if she didn't understand, no one would, since she WAS RGS, RJC. Anyway, I was referring to the recent issue about parents being unhappy about their kids playing "Taopok" in school. You know, the kind where they all jump on top of this poor guy who's right at the bottom? Well, for those who have been reading the newspapers, you would probably know what I am talking about. For those who don't, well, you see, in this 'game' of Taopok, the person below could die because he cannot breathe properly, thus dying of asphyxiation. Or he could also damage his organs or stuff cos he is being crushed by goodnees knows how many people on top of him? I think I shouldn't explain every sentence of the 2 paragraphs before this, think you all should go figure it out. Though Trini says its gross, I am not writing about something gross, its may be gross in form, but in substance, it all describes the act of taopok-ing innocently. Please...I'm an innocent little boy!

Anyway, a hot girl sometimes has a hot bf too. Note the word "sometimes". That's because I usually notice pretty girls with average-looking guys. But then, I also average, why no body wants me? *sobs*. Ok anyway, Sharon's bf is called Yandao. He's quite famous too actually. This is a picture of him...

Ok, I was just kidding. That's not her real boyfriend. But her real boyfriend is called yandao, for reasons probably evident when you see him in person.
