March 1 - ACS Founder's Day. My alma mater in which I spent 12 years of my life. 10 of which was in a monastery where hormone ravaged boys do the naughtiest things. In fact, when I first entered JC, I felt a little sad that those days I spent in ACS were gone. I dreaded having girls in school with me. Somehow, when boys are alone, we have much more fun together and that's what made school so fun. But, with the girls around, guys will be restrained from speaking or acting at will. Gone were the days in ACS where we would play soccer during recess, come back to our air-con class and stink it up so bad I wonder how the teachers ever bear with it. Then my friend, Renhan (gal magnet) and I both sat right at the back and he introduced me to the fastest way of cooling down: unbottoning your shirt and taking off your pants. Not that the teacher would see anyway since the table was big enough to shield our boxers/underwear from sight. Then there were also those times where we switched from soccer to mini pingpong. We used the teacher's table (which was barely as big as your hall table) and put the board duster as the net. Definitely required much skill to play, and do a top spin even. Teacher's (esp male) were fun to joke around with sometimes even dirtily. While other teacher's were just as childish as us and played along. Then there was this incident too where we spotted our chemistry teacher looking thru the glasshole in the classroom door while we were all changing after PE. Since we had televisions in our classrooms, sometimes our teachers allowed us to watch major events on tv during lessons. I remember watching Michael Johnson win both the 200m and 400m in the 1996 Atalanta Olympics. Also, there were bad times when there were hair checks and I had to rely on my prefect spies to provide tip-offs, while others hide in the toilet, or classroom closet etc. Finally, those super memorable rugby camps we always had. Many more memories of those good ole days and I will definitely make my son/s a monk for 10 years next time.
March 1 - Trini aka Fatty's birthday. This year she turns 21. As her age increases, we all wonder whether her weight and size increase proportionately or not (do refer to my brother minimingmong's blog for more info). Anyway, I went for her bday party last week. Had some fun playing Taboo, (which I think I'm kinda good at), checked out my favourite taopok, ate quite a lot of food, played some mahjong and won $2 (once again extending my winning streak to 2 games!), and basically that's about all the excitement I had. Fun, but stone at times too, but thats the way chalets/parties usually go.
Hall 7 guys with Trini. I am not really as tall as I look in the picture because I was tip-toeing. Neither is Hall 7's shortest but hunky man, Tienwei, that tall because he is also tip-toeing. Neither is Hall 7's second shortest but not so hunky man, Ryan, that tall because he is also tip-toeing...I think!
As I was kinda bored and was asking pingpong to show me the present were shared for Trini, I somehow noticed some resemblence between a bikini top and a waterpolo cap. Uncanny.
Pingpong insisted on taking more pictures, but I refused. Everyone was looking at me wearing a bikini on my head. Including Trini's auntie and DAD (baldy in the background). That's how I find self-entertainment in times of boredom. But anyway, pingpong and I decided to take some pictures of ourselves too. Hardly have any with her considering our 15+ year history. Derek (background) just wants to be in the picture with pingpong. They seem close.
But then again, Ryan and pingpong seem awfully close too!
Ok Pingpong swears to kill me and sever our 15+ year friendship if I were to announce to the world that she and Ryan are SUSPECT. But, since I treasure the wonderful love-hate relationship we have, I shall declare that there is nothing between them. What you interpret was in no way due to a misrepresentation by Mingmong.
Anyway, I stayed till almost 5am and I decided I should go home and sleep in the comforts of my bed. Before heading home, we decided to see how many people + mahjong table + mahjong set + a box with speakers in a Colt.
Can you guess who is beside pingpong in the picture? hehehe.
Anyway, was a nice night overall. Unfortunately for Pingpong, she went home and had sore eyes. That's what you get for peeping at me in the toilet.
She really looks like a Japanese actress here. Guess who?
The actress who acted as Sadako in The Ring. As in, Pingpong looks like the actress WHEN she was dressed as Sadoko. Think she could really cut it out as a horror movie actress. Saves the company alot of money on makeup. So keep a look out for the upcoming movie....
THE PING
STARRING PINGPONG as SADAPONG
In its scariest scene, Sadapong crawls out of a television set and goes, "RAHHHHHHHHHHHHHHH!!!!!!!!!!"
Anyway, Tienwei has a knack for this too...
Time for bed! Look out for a new segment coming up exclusively on Mingmongster soon.
