All geared up for the festive period...

CNY is jus around the corner..so I decided to start preparing myself for this special CNY. Why is it special? Cos its the rooster year! Yeap, I'm a chicken..

So anyway, after school today, I went for my monthly dental appt to tighten my braces..first thing i did to get in the mood for CNY, was to ask my dentist for red and orange rubberbands for my braces...during christmas I did red and green..

Next, I hopped on down to have a hair cut..hair was getting a bit too long for comfort..esp with the scorching heat these days..anyway I had a 50% discount voucher for my usual place so I was really tempted to dye my hair too.. So..i decided to do red cos i was thinking of it for a while already... red is the festive colour afterall...

And the end product..much shorter than I wanted though..jus hope the l'oreal pple dun scold me..hah..somehow..the colouring din come out the way i wanted it..but oh well..can't do anything abt it....but its not tt bad la..was jus expecting much better...but i learnt in my experiences with hair colouring that you only get what you expected half the time...

So that's the 2nd prep thing for CNY...

When i came back..i decided to clean my room a bit..so i vacuumed the carpet, tidied my stuff...then i decided to clean my fan cos it was getting a bit weak..so i took a rag and stood on my bed to wipe the fan...and i learnt a lesson

Lesson 1: never open your mouth when u clean a ceiling fan.

As I wiped the dust off the blades of the fan...a huge ass chunk of black dirt/dust dropped straight into my open mouth...$#%@.. and i spat it out immediately and it splat on my cupboard door..then i saw how humungonous it actually was...gross to the max...

I went to rinse my mouth and when i came back..i turned on the fan..and i learnt a lesson again..

Lesson 2: never turn on the fan after wiping it unless u are sure it is clean.

As the fan started to spin.. little black 'snowflakes' started to fall....$#%@ and i had to re-vacuum the carpet...bloody hell...

Yes I do have a real plant in my room if u noticed..and the romantic mode doesnt look that good on photo cos i used my phone to take them..

Ack..I think i still taste the dirt in my mouth...
